  • Here are the reading comprehension questions for chapters 1-5.  Read the prologue and chapters 1-5 and complete the questions.  Be sure to answer in complete sentences... and don't forget to answer question one!

Due 10/8

Announcements

Fall Break - No class on 10/15
Fall Party- 10/29!  I'll have CFA nuggets for everyone.  Bring a side, drink, or dessert!

Parents- I am keeping a record of your child's assignments on the same Google spreadsheet as your payment log.  (It was the Google doc link shared with you at the beginning of the year.)  This will allow you to keep up with missing assignments, grades for graded assignments, etc.
*I am still grading reading comprehension questions. They will be up soon!*

Science
  • Read chapter 8, thoroughly.  Take notes in your science notebook as you read.  It will help you remember important information!
  • Complete Quest Guide p. 20-21
    • Do your best.  This is not a simple fill-in-the-blank.  You're going to need to use those brains!
  • Complete this online quiz over chapter 8.

Grammar
  • Read through lesson 16 to help remind you of our in-class lesson.
  • Complete lessons 17, 18, and 19.  You do not have to do the "More Practice" section, but you need to do the rest... including working through the exercises during the lesson and checking your answers as you go.
  • If you have skipped lessons, you are going to be VERY lost in this class.  They are not optional, and you are responsible for catching up.  (There is a difference between something being difficult and needing extra help and simply not doing your work!)
