Due 3/31

Science

  • For those who had slow connections and would like to do the orbit activity at home, here is a link to the instructions.  We used a 9.5" string to make our loop.
  • In class we talked about the adoption of Arabic numbers to replace Roman numerals for arithmetic.  Look up Roman numerals (if needed) and complete this page.
  • We are going to have an informal assessment of this Unit.  You can use any material that you have to complete these pages.
    • ATTENTION-- The last 2 pages are OPTIONAL.  This is an activity to create a rap over the information in chapters 19-24.  You don't have to, but it would be hilariously fun.  :-D  (I included an example.)
    • Click here for the pages.

Grammar
  • Check lessons 92-94 please.  It's VERY important that you check them so that we can discuss any problems that you have trouble with.
  • Do Lesson 95.... all of it EXCEPT Review Set.  (Including More Practice)
  • Complete all of lessons 96, 97, and 98.
  • Check your work.
  • I also need you to complete this test and send it to me by MONDAY night at 6pm.  Not kidding.  Don't send it to me Tuesday.

WRITING-
  • I want you to do something different this week.  I would like for you to write a letter to yourself 10 in the future.   The changes taking place and the decisions being made, both in our country and in our world, are major events in history.  Tell yourself about what things are like for you and your family right now.  This doesn't have to be fancy or full of research.  It's actually FOR YOU.  We will read them in class next week, but they are ultimately for you to keep for the future to remind yourself of this experience.
